What is KeyGuard?

KeyGuard is a cryptographically secure, multi-user, multi-platform password safe. You can use KeyGuard for any kinds of passwords, like social network passwords, computer passwords, or store accounts.

What does "cryptographically secure" mean?

lock

Cryptographically secure means that even someone with full access to the KeyGuard database can't decode your passwords. KeyGuard also does not contain any hidden internal keys, which means that also our development team would not be able to read any of your passwords if it had access to your database. It all depends on the strength of your KeyGuard passphrase (the password you use to log into KeyGuard). So you should be very careful in choosing this passphrase.

What does multi-user mean?

usersMulti-user means that you can share your passwords with multiple users. For each of the passwords you are able to select which of the KeyGuard users have access. This also is cryptographically secure, each user can decode only passwords he is selected for. This makes KeyGuard the ideal solution for groups of network administrators with a big amount of administrative accounts.

PCWhat platforms are supported?

KeyGuard supports all major desktop platforms (Windows, Mac OS X, Linux). You can share the same password database between all supported platforms.
